Returns & Exchange Policy

Your satisfaction is very important to us. At Maryam Books, we aim to provide accurate, authentic, and high-quality books. If there is an issue with your order, we’re here to help.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

You can request a return or exchange ONLY if:

✔ You received the wrong book

✔ The book has a manufacturing defect

✔ The book arrived damaged

✔ Pages are missing or misprinted

📌 IMPORTANT: Requests must be made within 48 hours of receiving the parcel.

2. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

We do NOT accept returns for:

  • Books damaged after delivery

  • Books with writing, stamps, or marks added by the customer

  • Wrong orders placed by the customer

  • Change of mind

  • Old editions requested intentionally by customers

  • Books with minor publisher variations (cover/printing/color)

  • Slight variation in print quality (common with some boards)

3. How to Request a Return or Exchange

To process your request smoothly, follow these steps:

Step 1 — Contact Us Within 48 Hours

Send us a message on WhatsApp at +92 XXX XXXXXXX
Include:

  • Order number

  • Book name

  • Issue description

Step 2 — Share Photos/Videos

Send clear photos or a short video of the:

  • Damaged area

  • Misprint

  • Wrong book received

  • Packaging (optional)

Step 3 — Verification

Our support team will verify the issue within 24 hours.

Step 4 — Replacement Process

If approved, we will send a replacement copy.
In some cases, the courier may collect the incorrect book.

4. Replacement Time

Replacement time depends on your location:

  • Karachi: 2–3 working days

  • Lahore / Islamabad: 3–4 working days

  • Other Cities: 4–6 working days

5. Return Shipping Charges

✔ If the mistake is from our side:

Maryam Books will bear all return & re-delivery costs.

✔ If the mistake is from customer side:

Customer will be responsible for shipping charges.

6. Damaged Parcels

If the courier delivers a visibly damaged parcel:

  • Take photos immediately

  • Do NOT open the parcel

  • Report on WhatsApp right away

We will guide you through the next steps.

7. Order Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order before dispatch.
Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.

8. Refund Policy (If Applicable)

Refunds may be issued only if:

  • The product is out of stock

  • Product cannot be replaced

  • Payment was made in advance

Refunds are processed within 3–7 working days via the same payment method (Bank/Easypaisa/JazzCash).

9. Transparency Disclaimer

We guarantee:
✔ Authentic books
✔ Latest available editions
✔ Accurate order processing

However, publisher-side changes such as:

  • Cover design

  • Print appearance

  • Minor color differences
    are not considered valid reasons for return.
